Our legacy neighborhoods are the heart and soul of District 1. They’re where our culture, history, and identity come alive. But too often, rapid and poorly thought-out development threatens to undercut what makes these communities unique. When new projects come before the city, the people who live here aren’t given a real say. That’s not right.
I believe in preserving our culture while managing growth responsibly. My vision is to ensure that development enhances—not erases—the character of our neighborhoods. That means giving residents a voice in the process and making sure their concerns are heard loud and clear. Because no one deserves to be ignored.
